HydroCon pipes and pits are manufactured in Australia under a production agreement with Mittagong Concrete Products Pty Ltd, located in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. The agreement territory covers the State of New South Wales.   HydroCon has supplied MCP with a special pipe making machine sourced from Germany. The machine was installed in late 2004 and commissioned in early 2005.   The production site at Cardigan Street, Balaclava, near Mittagong is strategically located 45 minutes from Western Sydney, 45 minutes from Wollongong and 2 hours from Canberra.   MCP was established in 1974 as a manufacturer of septic tanks. It came under new ownership and management in October 2002 with renewed commitment to quality and expanding the range of precast concrete products. The company operates an on-site batching plant (EPA licence no. 4976).
