APPLICATIONS – VEHICLE PAVEMENTS

HydroSTON is proving to be a very effective pavement cover for carparks, parking spaces, and driveways, where it is desirable or required that stormwater runoff be infiltrated into the ground to reduce pressure on stormwater drainage systems or supplement water supply to adjacent trees and landscaped areas.
Fully porous HydroSTON 80 pavers (206 x 136 x 80mm) should be specified for all pavements subject to vehicle use. Vehicle traffic pavements require preparation of a stable yet permeable substructure to allow both drainage and stability under load. Pavers need to be laid with 4mm av. joints to provide both flexibility as well as ‘lock-up’ of the pavement.
