HydroCon products are highly suitable for use in stormwater management on private properties, including stormwater harvesting and reuse, infiltration, and temporary detention.
HydroSTON 80 permeable pavers are ideal for driveways and tree protection in trafficable areas, while HydroSTON 50 pavers are being used for footpaths and terraces, providing highly stable, free draining and slip resistant pavement cover.
Most local government councils accept HydroSTON as contributing to permeable plot ratios, thus freeing up land for building. HydroSTON was used partly for this purpose in Mirvac apartment developments at Rhodes, NSW. Permeable paving is now often a condition of Council Development Application Approval.
